We set goals in different aspects of our lives. But how do we know when to level up those goals. How to avoid the result plateau. How do we deal with plateauing in our goals? Level up your goals only when activities are constant but result in a plateau. There are goals that when you hit a certain level it plateaued.
Plateauing is reaching a state of little or no change after a time of activity or progress in goal setting. This usually happens when we are less committed to our goal. We tend to lose the motivation to level up the goal. It frustrates us, especially when we are stuck on trying to change or improve something in our life.
Dealing with plateauing in our goals.
- Clarify your goals. Be specific in whatever it is that you want to achieve.
- Inject small changes consistently. Routines bore us, so to spice up things adds small changes. This small change might spark something in you to keep moving forward towards that goal.
- Forgive yourself. We all commit mistakes, we are human. If you make a mistake, forgive yourself and focus on becoming better.
- Create Accountability. Think of that person that you don’t want to let down in achieving your goal. Make them your inspiration to push through those early plateaus and achieve your goal.
