Ben Franklin is credited for saying, “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.” Did you ever notice that when our life goes sideways, there are usually things we could have done to avoid it. There is no benefit of doing it when it refers to something in the past but we can do something if we do it for the future. This is called planning 🙂 We want to take that feeling and thought of “I woulda/shoulda/coulda if I only knew” away from you. Take the small amount of time it takes to plan. You will find that you have a higher likelihood of succeeding when you plan properly and when you don’t, well all you can hope for is some luck.Â
“If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail”, underscores the importance of having a well-thought-out plan in any endeavor. Without planning, it becomes much more challenging to achieve goals or navigate through various situations effectively. Planning helps to identify objectives, allocate resources, anticipate obstacles, and establish a roadmap for success. Therefore, failing to plan can indeed increase the likelihood of failure, as it leaves actions to chance rather than intentional direction and preparation.
